AIMS
To organise voluntary help for those in need of assistance in the home or undertaking a task in the neighbourhood through the provision and co-ordination of a multi-skilled locally based task force of volunteers. To endeavour to initiate services or provide equipment when a community need presents itself through the development of the Neighbourhood House premises.
Some of the services presently provided by LNN:

OVER FIFTIES FRIENDLY CLUB + LUNCH CLUB
2 Course Lunch costs only £1.60 for a starter/main course or
main course/pudding from 12.15 - 1.15pm followed by the Friendly Club from 1.15
- 3.30pm every
Monday in St. Paul's Church Hall. Membership fees are 40p per week except
for special events.
DROP-IN FACILITY
Wednesday and Thursday from 10.00am - 2.00pm
We offer a variety of refreshments, Tea/Coffee, herbal and decaffeinated alternatives, biscuits and a friendly face.
PHOTOCOPYING FACILITIES
Job application forms, school work, driving licence, official documents etc. No long treks in bad weather or time consuming jaunts on foot/in the car.

TRAINING & COMPUTER ACCESS
Internet Training Sessions are given by one of gatekeepers - Jeanette Daly or George Burck.
The 1st hour is Free. Any other session will be charged as follows:
Daytime £1.50 full price/£1.10 concessions
Evening (Occasionally available) £1.30 full price/£1.00 concessions
Weekends (Occasionally available) £1.00 full price/£0.50 concessions
Neighbourhood House is a community house run by Ladywell Neighbourhood Network. Our opening hours sometimes vary because of call-outs.

Ladywell Friendly Bank is one of six 'Neighbourhood Networks' in West Lothian and was set up as a charity 16 years ago. We are still going strong and organise voluntary help for those in need of an extra helping hand/service locally (Howden and Ladywell).
Services offered include:

Pension collection
Shopping (for the housebound)
Escort and transport to medical or other appointments
Affordable garden equipment hire
Pensioner's lunch club
Over fifties friendly club
Befriending
Shopping and odd jobs
